Youth Drop In Center
“Love is a human experience not a political statement.”
Program Philosophy
The ACQC LGBTQ Youth Drop-In Center strives to serve the 1,600 LGBTQ youth who are homeless or at-risk in New York City. The goal of the drop-in center is to provide a safe and nurturing space for youth ages 13-24 to go during the day where they can socialize with their peers, prepare for jobs and higher education, receive sexual health materials, counseling, and learn to become n advocate, while reducing the chance of remaining homeless or becoming homeless. We aim to provide a helping hand that will guide one’s path to an overall well-being.
